The Faccenda Centre, opened in 2011, is located at the heart of the campus; the building is designed to be a hub for students with essential services such as the Students' Union, Careers Service and Graze Café under one roof.
The building has a great deal of social space, with a large open plan foyer on the ground floor and open access computers to allow students to work and socialise in the same space.
The ground floor has a café, shop, open access computers and a sprung floor fitness suite as well as study and meeting rooms which students can book for group work. The ground floor is also home to the Student Union offices.
The second floor is home to the Student Services team, including the conduct and community and wellbeing teams, accessible via the Hi (Harper Info) Point. This team provides support on accommodation, mental health and other general guidance.
The top floor houses the learning support team, placement administrators and the careers service. Registry, which holds student records and postgraduate support are also found here.
Faccenda has been generously supported by Mr Robin Faccenda, Chairman of the Faccenda Group, a major chicken producer who invested £300,000 into the student centre, along with a further £200,000 to fund a long-term programme of student financial support.
Mr Faccenda completed the National Diploma in Poultry at Harper Adams in 1961 and has been associated with Harper Adams for many years since, supporting students with the Faccenda Award for the top industrial placement student in the poultry industry.
