“It was a pleasure to welcome the Queen’s Baton to the Harper Adams campus as it makes its way to this year’s Birmingham 2022 Commonwealth Games. With the Games just days away, there was a real sense of excitement – and I’d like to thank all the Batonbearers, their families, and the wider Queen’s Baton Relay team for visiting us. A special thanks, too, to the police, council staff, and of course the 91Pro staff who made the event such a memorable occasion on what proved to be the hottest day of the year so far – well done all!”
