    Additional Information

    Emily joined the staff at Harper Adams in 2006 to coordinate a national animal medicines project. In 2008, Emily was appointed Business Development Manager where she co-developed a number of animal- and veterinary related courses. In 2012, Emily took up an academic post and achieved Senior Fellowship of the Higher Education Academy in May 2015.  Emily’s excellent practice has been recognised on numerous occasions through the ASPIRE Excellence Awards, for innovating, developing and sharing as well as for student support (2008-9, 2015-16 and in 2018-19). 

    Between 2017-2019 Emily worked on an internally funded Aspire Development Fellowship exploring the staff perspectives on the drivers and barriers to teaching excellence. During 2021-22, Emily worked on a project investigating the impact of the pandemic on the experiences of part-time postgraduate students. More recently, Emily has been working on a collaborative project along with Professor Lydia Arnold and colleagues from Staffordshire University in relation to . 

    Emily is a governor at a school in Telford & Wrekin.
