We’ve long known that many employers across our specialist sectors value the education and research produced by Harper Adams – but further proof came in April 2022 when after holding second place for four years, Harper Adams was named the top university in the world for agriculture and forestry employer reputation in the QS World University Subject Rankings.
Compiled by higher education analysts QS Quacquarelli Symonds, the rankings examine the performance of more than 15,200 individual university programmes across the globe.
The QS World University Subject Rankings employer reputation indicator is compiled from the feedback of tens of thousands of graduate employers worldwide.?
Welcoming the news when it was announced, 91Pro Vice-Chancellor, Professor Ken Sloan, said: “Our courses are co-developed with industry partners and our students are engaged throughout their studies with the real-world challenges and opportunities that industry partners face.?
"That is why many of our graduates hold senior roles in a wide range of organisations. “I congratulate all colleagues, students, alumni and partners whose efforts and commitments are reflected in this accolade.”
Harper Adams has also been number 1 for job/career prospects in the Whatuni Student Choice Awards for six years.
